Andrea - Supervisor
Andrea graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours BA in History and Child Psychology. Andrea continued her education at Loyalist College, graduating with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Andrea has over 10 years in the field of Childcare, seven of those years in a supervisory role. Andrea attends seminars regularly with an emphasis on autism training and behaviour management. Currently completing a Certificate in Early Intervention/Resource Teacher from Seneca College
Deborah - Assistant Supervisor & Preschool Teacher
Graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in psychology and her BEd, Deborah has over 20 years experience as a classroom teacher, Early Childhood Education assistant and a stay-at-home mom. Deborah has completed her AECEO equivalency in Early Childhood Education.
Theresa - Toddler Teacher
Graduated from Durham College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. With over five years experience in the field of child care, Theresa ran her own successful home care centre before pursuing experience in our toddler classroom. Theresa continues to build on her experiences at Utica by attending courses in Autism training and ADHD. Theresa is the recipient of the 2008 Durham Region Child Care Forum's individual Award of Excellence.
Alexis - School Age Teacher
With a Bachelor of Education from Nippissing University, Alexis is a perfect addition to our school age program. Her creative ideas and strong programming skills are greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to her special spin on summer camp.
Sarah - Enhanced Staff Worker / Support Staff
A recent graduate from Durham College in the Early Childhood Education Program, Sarah did a placement at Utica Daycare and we snapped her up after graduation. Sarah's caring and understanding makes her a natural enhanced staff worker at our centre
Debbie - Kitchen Manager
Debbie brings years of experience, in restaurants and child care centres, along with her love of cooking and children to Utica Daycare. Debbie makes healthy lunches fun.
